1. Eligibility
The promotion of Buddhism can only be realized and accomplished through meaningful exchanges and collaborations between monastics and lay practitioners.Financial stability is of key importance. We are now soliciting patron members, to build a steady support to the foundation and long term development of Santa Monastery, and to Acariya Kaiyin in his efforts in advancing, teaching and spreading Buddhism in the United States.
Eligible members shall meet the following criteria:
- Support the mission and goal of Santa Monastery
- Mission: Grounded in the purity and simplicity of Early Buddhism, Santa Monastery aims to promote understanding and practice of the religion, incorporating what is correct and appropriate to convey the true intention of the Buddha.\.
- Goal: In its effort to propagate and sustain Buddhism, the Monastery pays special attention to the education and training of monastics and lay practitioners.
- Make a pledge: monthly donation of USD $30 and above to Santa Monastery
